Happy Birthday Gagi

As with tradition, on Nani and Gagi's first night of arrival for the March birthday visits we celebrated Gagi's birthday with him

So many changes...yet still the same

Ana week 1 of life- a crooked neck, a bright cheerful room and life full of sunshine, even if it was in Wisconsin!

What Four years will do.....Ana at age four- same colors, same furniture, same baby face- just with a twist!

Some of her noteworthy favorites:

Favorite Color- green (has been since 15 months of age)

Favorite Activity- swimming and reading

Favorite Toys- baby Abby, Dinosaurs, TAG (leap frogs reading system)

Favorite Places- The Aquarium, School, Busch Gardens, Lido Beach and home (in the pool of course)

Grown Up Dream- To be a diver- (since age 1), perhaps even a diving paleontologist (new this year)

Best Friend- Taylor (seriously- too cute!)

AKA ready for a booster seat, but has a mommy that for some reason can't accept this!

Keeping up with the Economy

Justin and I were enjoying our evening "cab" and thought, "hmmmm, it's awfully quiet out here".  

So we investigated.  

To our surprise we turned the corner to see this (NO WE DID NOT STAGE IT)- Ana reading up on AIG with little Taya peering over her shoulder.

Favorite Presents

Mommy and Baby.  Her jammies are new too and baby Abby has a matching pair.

While still full on with dinosaurs, Ana has begun venturing into loving some more traditionally girl things- Tinker Bell and playing mommy.  So, for her birthday she got a Tinker Bell Bike and her 1st Bitty Baby (the American Girl doll baby) with all the baby care necessities- a pram, diaper bag, carrier and matching outfits!  She is a GREAT MOMMY and really wants a baby in the house- DADDY!?!?!?!!?

Needless to say, he is thankful that baby Abby has entered our world if only for the reason that it's taking the pressure off him, temporarily, to add a baby to the family- trust me when I tell you he gets it from all us girls!!! Poor Daddy!!!

Spring Fun at the Splash Park

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY ANA LU!!!

Ana had her 4th birthday party at the best locale in town---- THE BEACH!  What 4 year old doesn't dream of a beach party.  It was fun, easy and cheap- complete with teddy bear beach picnic cupcakes- designed and created by yours truly!!!

Here are a few shots, although we really didn't take many pictures- we also had a big parachute that we played games with and took the birthday girl for a ride!!!

Now we're all bronzed and ready for springtime in the south!!!!!!!!!!  It is OFFICIALLY THE BEST time of year here!

4th Birthday school celebration

Ana's school has a great tradition of bringing the birthday kids up on stage the Monday closest their birthday while the whole school sings them Happy Birthday.  This week Ana got her turn!

With Gagi's last night in town we decided to let the girls stay up late and experience some good 'ol fasion American history- the NEW YORK YANKEES spring training game.  The girls loved it, and while we only made is 4 innings until they were asking to go home, their cheers and smiles made the night worth the money spent!
