Ana had fun putting "pitty bows like Addy" in Nana's hair during her visit. Isn't she pretty?

Ana, getting her you's and I's confused, has lately taken to hiding in funny places and asking us what she is doing...it's quite funny and nice to see her explore with her bodies boundaries...a very new thing for our little torticollis girl (who by the way, is still quite tilted...guess she will be a lifelong flirt)

Our latest and greatests

We've had a boom of funnies lately here. Ana is becoming quite the teacher and comedian and oh such fun. And little Taylor is full of giggles
ANA:
Ana's newest game is hide and go seek. She covers her eyes (while peaking out) and counts to 5. Then runs around looking for me, laughing oh so hard when she finds me. Seriously...where does she learn this stuff. She also is into a few new phrases that are the funniest yet.
"I need it" "Mom, I NEED the _____" "I love it" "Oh I love ____, I need it" How funny is that?
And my favorite, while en route to Target. "I LOVE Target", While passing Target, "Mom, go to Target PLEASE, I LOVE IT. I love Target!"
Make beleive is still by far her favorite past time, but it has progressed so far. She now makes her people have conversations with one another, build things, enact many different games, help each other, and tell each other how much they love them. It's so fun to sit and watch (or get something done while she entertains herself)

TAYLOR:
She sits up for hours and hours belly laughing away. Her favorite is when you kiss her neck repeatedly. Deep belly laughs. Just so fun. She also cracks up at Ana. And Ana eats it up. The 2 of them are already finding ways to play together, which gives me a little light into the future and I can't wait. The other day, Ana grabbed Taylor's arms, while facing her, and rocked back and forth singing, "row, row, row your boat. How cute is that?!?!?!?!? They also are LOVING their bath times together. Taylor no longer goes in a seat, just lays right there on the floor of the tub (good thing she isn't rolling yet) and watches Ana teach her all the letters. Ana, "here Taylor. This is an H". SHe does this for all the letters. Taylor thoroughly enjoys this as she munches away on them!
AND...she is cutting her first tooth. It hasn't fully broken through yet, but you can see and feel it well. Perhaps she'll be like Ana and cut her 1st tooth on her 5 mo. b-day

OOOO "beluga whales'

While Gaga was in town, Ana took him to the GA Acquarium. She loves that place and Gaga had yet to see it. They had a great time and she was a top notch host...showing him the "otters", "beluga whales", "penguins", "Dori and Nemo fishes", "sea lions", "whale sharks"....the list goes on and on. I think she has that place memorized by now!

Trick or Treat

The girls did wonderful this year. I think Justin can agree when I say for both of us, this was the best trick or treat in our life. Ana was SO INTO IT. She amazed every single person. We went with a neighbor and their 11 month old. Ana and her shared a wagon, although Ana insisted on walking almost the entire time. She would strut up to the house, treat bag in hand, and loudly proclaim, "trick or treat", followed with an ever so cute, "oooooo" upon placement of treats in her bag and ended with a heartfelt, "THANK YOU!". And, if she knew the name of home owner she would add that as well. She lasted until darkfall, then got "scared dark" so we headed home. "scared" is her new obsession. She has discovered it's meaning and is using it in full force!

And Taylor, our little Tay Tay. She did great! She kept her costume on (without the flower hat, so we called her a stem instead of a flower :) ) and slept happily away in our great stroller. She really is just becoming such a happy little bug. I can't wait for you all to see her again. She's so differet now!

De Soto Falls National Forest

Following family tradition, we took Gaga into the foothills today to see one of North Atlanta's georgeous waterfalls. We did a nice 1.5 mile loop hike with the most stunning waterfall yet as our climax. It was a great day, and the fall colors were stunning.

Ana learned a few more outdoor terms (moss, tree stump, the 3 r's- ruts, roots and rocks-getting her ready for her mountain biking days) and continued to solidfy her knowledge of where the river's & waterfall's water comes from, "water from the mountains". Taylor squealed with glee hanging out in her favorite place- the Baby Bjorn. She LOVES that thing!!!!!!!!

Double Date

The girls were escorted to Stone Mountain, by Gaga and Daddy. Such a fun afternoon they had. Nothing beats fall in GA (not even fall in WI)

Happy Halloween 2006

Flower Child meets Suzy Spider

We have been in full blown Halloween cheer this weekend. It started with a party at Daddy's work on Wednesday. We then had a Halloween party in our neighborhood with all Ana's new friends and will end with Trick or Treating on Tuesday.
The best part of all is that Gaga (my dad) came in for the weekend and has gotten to see our adorable Flower Child and Suzy Spider. Cutest in town :)


Ana was a busy spider, decorating cookies, making pumpkin magnets and pointing out, counting, and reading all the letters, numbers and words that she could, wowing even the strangers passing by.

Taylor, while she wasn't too keen on being the flower child, was perfectly content staring at all the beautiful and scary costumes from the safety of Gaga's arms. And, as always, was most captivated by her sister the spider (how long do you think this will last?).

I must say, Ana is LOVING Halloween this year. And, again to my dismay, TV has come in handy. I bought her a Dora Halloween video. She watched it once and on her own came up with "Trick or Treat" while in costume in Daddy's office. I couldn't figure out how or why she knew to say it....so I asked. She replied, "mommy. Trick or Treat. Like Dora". Silly me, of course!!!!! She also is very proudly letting everyone know that, "spiders have eight legs. I have two!" Such a silly little Suzy Spider.

From one Contraption to the next

Taylor is really getting older now and enjoying all her fun contraptions! This makes daytime life A LOT easier on all of us!
