Girls just want to have fun

Maia, our cousin/summer mommy's helper, and I took all three girls to an indoor water park this week while daddy was out of town. Man did we have fun- even Emi!!!!! She LOVED swimming and watching all the waterworks- didn't even flinch when kids would splash her.

This summer Ana has another round of vision therapy every Monday night. That means Emi, Tay and I, along with cousin Maia (our summer mommy's helper) have an hour each week to hang out and play in the waiting room.

Here Tay is spending some quality time with baby sister Emily while I'm in therapy with Ana. Never fear, Maia is right next to Tay making sure all goes well!

Our local neighborhood park has a river running through it- a HUGE selling point for us. The girls love to explore in the water. This week they went with some friends and came home with new pets: CRAWFISH!!!! Eeeeeekkkk!!!!!

Emi has been getting consistently more "fussy". I just got this tummy band in the mail and it worked immediately. Wow. I haven't seen her this peaceful in over a week. Now, let's hope it has the same effect at 2:00 AM.

So.... We tried to have Emily sleep without a pacifier last night- she cried for 3 hours straight!!!! Yikes!

The problem is that it falls out when she falls into a nice peaceful sleep and then she wakes up screaming because she needs the pacifier. Its a viscous loop- the same one we struggled with Tay for three years over... I'm not about to go three years holding a pacifier in baby #3's mouth.

(don't be scared or tempted to call me in- I was right there... tempting though, isn't it!!!!! ;) )

We had a fun party at our friends' and cousins' house. Emily loved the fireworks and the girls loved the lake raft. What a great day.

School Character Parade

At the girls school they do up Halloween, but instead of dressing in "costume" they dress as a character in their favorite book- most kids pick a costume and then find a book to go with it :)  Leave it to us humans to get around policy :) :) :)

Anyway- the kids seemed to have fun.  Although when I asked Ana how it was she reported, "scary.  There were too many people."
